Sous Chef required for an all fresh Gastro Pub located in Norfolk. Salary £28,000.
The client is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate chef with a fresh food background.
There is a team of 4 + KP’s in the kitchen, with a 60 covers, you will be using all fresh produce.
- Working alongside the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities and deputising in their absence.
- Oversee kitchen staff.
- Delivering the food concept to excellent standards.
- All aspects of food stock control including ordering, taking deliveries, stock taking, and control of wastage.
- Work across all sections in the kitchen.
What we need from you:
- Have an excellent knowledge of current food trends.
- Experience in menu planning and food costing.
- Have a fresh food background.
- Up to date with health and safety, dietary requirements and allergens.
- Have excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills.
