Head Chef for a Characteristic Hotel, Berkshire. Salary £45,000, Live-in accommodation available.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Head Chef with a great eye for detail and presentation for this hotel. Ideal opportunity for a senior sous to take on their first Head Chef role.
The Hotel boasts a modern, stylish all fresh menu, which requires a passionate Head Chef who is also into sustainability and plant based dishes. You will oversee a kitchen team of 7.
As Head Chef, you will be ensuring that standards are maintained and achieved as good kitchen management and food hygiene control are essential.
Create dishes using locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
You will be responsible for the daily operation in the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all dishes.
Management and development of all kitchen staff.
Work within staffing quotas and budgets.
Work closely with management.
Maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Adhere to strict hygiene control throughout the kitchen.
What we need from you:
Have experience in a similarly high quality luxury Hotel operation.
Worked in 2 rosette operations as a minimum.
Experience managing and working with a diverse and experienced team
Be able to maintain a high and professional service.
Responsible for stock and cost control, along with achieving GP and budgets.
Up to date with health and hygiene, dietary requirements and allergens.
