Job detailsCommis Chef required for an all fresh Gastro Pub located in North Yorkshire. from £9 per hour, please note this is a live out position.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef with some experience in a fresh food background.
You will be working in a team of 5 chefs + KP’s, with a busy restaurant you will be using all fresh produce.
You will be working 45 hours per week, straight shifts, Mondays and Tuesdays off.
Duties of the job:
- Work on the designated station as set by the Head Chef.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Keep work area in hygienic conditions at all times according to the rules set by the establishment.
- Ensures that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times.

- To work with fresh, seasonal dishes cooked to quality standards.
- Eager to learn and progress in the kitchen.
- Adhere to strict hygiene control throughout the kitchen.
- To have your own whites and knives
- You are expected to comply with the companies health and hygiene procedures.
